Professional Statement

I have experience in analysis, design, project development, testing and implementation of the following software applications.

  ·   Visual Basic.NET, Visual Basic – I have written include a mortgage - loan application, a contact management  program, a robotics program to monitor fuel flow, a medical diagnosis program and a OCR program to store scanned information to databases.

  ·    Visual C++ , Turbo C – I have written include a program to monitor what all of the modems on networks are doing a desktop publisher, a windows registry editing program a astronomy evolution  program and a 3–dimensional graphics program.

  ·     Accounts Receivable consists of check information, payment history, AIA billing, Invoicing and  report menus written in Visual Basic, Visual C#,  Visual FoxPro, dBase, Paradox, R:BASE and  Cobol.  The invoicing program is also a point of sale program available in Visual Basic or Visual FoxPro.  Accounts Receivable is currently in use by a electronics company, photography company, machine shop and a diamond company.

  ·     Accounts Payable program consists of check Information, payment history, check register, report menus and 1099’s written in Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual FoxPro, dBase, paradox, R:BASE and Cobol.  A hair salon, construction company and a photography company are currently using accounts payable.

  ·    General Ledger is integrated in to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory and job costing and payroll and is in use by five companies.

  ·    Inventory Control , Fixed Inventory consists of  Inventory Control (that is pulled from when products are sold in accounts receivable) and Fixed Inventory (that is usually used for company assets that are not regularly sold).  Inventory is available in the following languages: Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual FoxPro, dBase, paradox and R:BASE.  Inventory is currently running in a machine shop, construction company, photography company, shirt company, dry cleaners and a used car dealer.

  ·   Job Costing consists of Job Cost Analysis, Estimating , Budgeting Job cost Report, Excel , Lotus 123 Interface and Bid sheets. Job Costing is in use by a construction company and electronics company.

  ·   Payroll system being used by a photography company and a dry cleaner.  Payroll consists of check information, Check register for printing checks, payment history, time clock, W2’s and report menu.  Payroll programs have been written in Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro, dBase, Paradox, R:BASE, Turbo C and Visual C++.

  ·   A SQL program for searching for resorts that meet different criteria is in use by a travel agency.

  ·   An assortment of function key and icon activated calculators and calendars have been added to most of my programs as well as tools programs for handling DOS functions from inside my programs and to change program colors.  F1 and the help icon activates on line help in all of my programs.

  ·    A three-dimensional CAD package is in use by a machine shop and construction company and is written in Visual C++, Visual Basic and Pascal.

  ·   Lotus Notes , Domino Web Server applications have been set up on Novell networks so that users could build project  specifications together smoothly and easily.  Lotus Notes also serves as some companies E-mail  program for all E-mail.

  ·    AS400 – PC network integration applications are in use by a hotel chain and resort and is written in Visual Basic, ASP.Net with the AS – 400s running on OS , 400 with a 5250 PC emulation.
